The valedictory function of the special Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) training program on “Micro Grids and Renewables”, for professionals from Indo-Pacific region, was conducted on 12th January at NETRA. 

NTPC is conducting four such training programs for power professional from Indo-Pacific region countries, under the auspices of ITEC programme of Development Partnership Administration (DPA), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The module on Micro Grids and Renewables, which marked the last leg of these capacity building programs, was conducted from 8th to 12th January 2024 and saw participation of twenty professionals from seven different countries. 

The valedictory function, held at NETRA auditorium wherein the participants were felicitated with certification for the course, was followed by a cultural program conducted by students of NSB, along with contribution from the participants also. The function was conducted in the presence of Dr J S Chandok, General Manager (IBD), Shri A P Dash, Ex Dean (NSB), Dr Debajit Palit, Professor (NSB), and other dignitaries from NSB.
